Join my e-mail list or feel my wrath

By | July 27, 2019

I’m just kidding. I have no wrath.

But, I have been working with fervor on my second book since starting my part-time job in January. I’ll give you more details if you sign up for my mailing list.

I would really like to cross off Life Bucket List Item #33 (go on a book tour). I hear large email lists entice publishers who fund book tours. Right now I have 2,185 email subscribers. That seems like a lot.

You can follow me on Twitter or Facebook, but those places make me uncomfortable, so I don’t spend much time there. The technology gods post for me, but I don’t worship them, so they’re rarely on my side. Joining my email list is much better.

And if my emails start to overwhelm you, just filter them to a different part of your inbox to read later when you’re not as overwhelmed.

If you don’t sign up for my email list, you’ll forget that I exist once you click away. That makes me sad.

One day you’ll be sitting around thinking of something I said that made you laugh and you’ll wonder what the name of my website is and you won’t remember. That’ll make you sad.

So join my email list and avoid the sadness.

If you’re already subscribed to my email list, just know that you’re the best people of all the people. That’s high praise because there are a lot of people.

I almost can’t believe how fortunate I am. While I have been quietly reading and your posts for a few months now, I only signed up for the email list earlier this week, hence, avoiding the wrath of TG! Lucky me 🙂

I subscribed awhile back to you too, Anita–but I’d never forget you, I display a link to your blog (and a few other favorite bloggers) on my blog. When you post something new, your link shoots to the top of the list 🙂

Wow, you’ve been blogging since 2006! How many subscribers do you have? Do you keep track?

Anita I’m honored you looked! No I don’t keep track of subscribers (anymore), but it once had around 125 followers before Google (which owns Blogger) discontinued the service. I’m just a personal blogger, not a successful one like yours 🙂
